Game Review:

Tonight the Lady Giants took on the Knights of Loy Norrix. Since playing your cross town rival is always a competitive match, the first set started out close. Both teams seemed to be working through some early game jitters. The Giants began to pull away near the half way point with strong swings from the middle. They would ride that momentum to the end, taking set 1 : 25-15.

Set two was a strong start for the Giants. Big blocks and swings on the overpass gave them a comfortable lead. Norrix made a strong run near the end of the set, but KC hung on and won set two : 25-20.

Set three started with strong serving from the Giants, who jumped out to a 10-2 lead early. Impressive attacks from the outside and strong defense kept things going in Central's favor. The final point of the match was a long rally, with both sides making impressive saves but ending on a swing wide of the court from the Knights. KC won set three: 25-12.
