Recap
The first conference match of the season pitted the Kalamazoo Central Giants against the Lakeview Spartans. Set one started off as a back and forth battle; KC getting some big blocks and Lakeview serving strong. The Spartans pulled away at the 14 point mark and won the set 25-16.
In set two the Giants started off slowly with some hitting and serving errors. Mud way through the set some great hustle defense started showing for KC, but they couldn't close the gap and Lakeview took set 2 25-16.
Set three was an up and down set for the Giants with some great defense and kills, and some unforced errors. Lakeview would win the set 25-14 and the match 3-0.
