Kalamazoo Central girls basketball beat Lakeview 46-36. Kalamazoo Central was led by Sophomore guard Morasha Wiggins with 34 points and 11 rebounds. Sophomore Laila Vincent also had a great game with 7 points, 4 steals, 5 rebounds and 1 crucial block shot. Laila had a 2 minute span in the 3rd quarter where she had 2 straight steals and a block shot that sparked a 10-0 Maroon Giant run which allowed us to get momentum and pull away. Laila and Morasha combined for 40 of the Maroon Giants 46 points. Cerica Finjab also had 7 block shots. Brazil Watkins led Lakeview with 13 points.
